It’s not just hamburgers we care about. At Beef & Liberty we are passionate about doing our bit, whether it’s looking after the environment, or just helping out our friends and neighbours. Here’s how…
SOURCING WITH CARE
We work closely with all our suppliers to guarantee the origins of our ingredients. We use high welfare beef, from grass-fed cattle from New Zealand, with no hormones and no anti-biotics. Our bacon is nitrate-free, from Austria. as nitrates have been linked to cancer. We source sustainability certified fish and seafood, cage free eggs, and the freshest fruit and vegetables from local farms.
We were one of the first restaurant brands in Hong Kong to partner with ‘Impossible’ plant-based beef. All of our burgers are available with an ‘Impossible’ upgrade.
We work with homegrown Hong Kong artisanal brands, supporting local businesses, small batch production and the finest ingredients. This includes our coffee, brewed locally by Rubix, our XTC Gelato, which is naturally lower in fat, and Young Master ales, Asia’s leading premium beer producer.


WATER FOR GOOD
Our restaurants have their own water cleansing and purification system. By purifying, bottling and carbonating our own water in-house, we are saving thousands of water bottles from heading to landfill and reducing the need for imported
BALANCED DINING
We believe in flexible dining and the environmental and health benefits of plant-based options. Choose our Leaves & Liberty vegetarian burgers. Hamburgers can be upgraded to an Impossible plant-based burger and/or vegan bun.
Alternatively, buns can be replaced with a salad for a Patty on a Plate.


PRESERVING PRECIOUS RESOURCES
We are conscious of our environmental footprint and avoid over-use of air conditioning, limit unnecessary water usage across our operations and recycle our glass waste.
We aim to serve the right-size portions in order to reduce food waste, and encourage customers to take leftovers home.
CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY
In December last year, our hearts were with the families affected by the tragic Tai Po fire. For the duration of December we donated all proceeds from the sales of our popular Black Pepper Burger to Feeding Hong Kong to help support their emergency relief food sharing programme.
