Passion for Burgers and the Environment
While our passion for burgers is unparalleled, we also care deeply about the environment. As a business, we’ve made it our goal to work towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable menu by featuring a range of plant-based offerings, including Impossible Foods and as well as supporting and sponsoring global environmental protection campaigns in Hong Kong.
Leaves & Liberty is our sustainable vegetarian, vegan and plant-based sister brand highlighted through different menu items in Hong Kong & Shanghai, including The Impossible™ burger, with whom we were the official Hong Kong launch partners in 2018.
Impossible™ meat is made entirely from plants, they’re gluten-free, more sustainable for our planet and known for being some of the best plant-based vegan burgers in Hong Kong. Guests can find the Impossible™ burger on the menu at all Beef & Liberty restaurants in Hong Kong, where they can order any beef burger in the Impossible™ form with our vegan buns that are available upon request.
As of December 2018, the Deliveroo Food Market on 58 High Street, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong, is Leaves & Liberty’s first brick and mortar outside our restaurants. Leaves & Liberty is also available for delivery from Wanchai.
You too can help us take a step towards a greener planet. We donate HK$8 for every Falafel burger sold to The Nature Conservancy, Hong Kong. For more information on The Nature Conservancy.
We purify, bottle and carbonate our own drinking water here on site, which saves 1000s of bottles from landfill, reduces the need for imported water and helps to minimize our carbon footprint. In addition to this, we also donate HK$5 for every bottle sold to Hong Kong Cleanup, an organization that encourages people to cleanup their local beaches and have engaged with over 350,000 participants to date with their annual ‘Hong Kong Cleanup Challenge’.
