Smoke & Barrel imported the beef brisket from a California farm and prepares them in traditional Texas-style BBQ cooking. It is rubbed in salt and pepper and smoked for 10-12 hours over lychee wood.

For the whole month of January, we are joining you on a month-long New Year detox, transforming our flagship Lan Kwai Fong restaurant into the first brick and mortar incarnation of Leaves & Liberty, featuring a 100% vegetarian menu for dine-in & delivery!
The menu will feature a 100% vegetarian menu created by Chef Neil Tomes that celebrate vegetables, pulses, fruits and nuts, majority of them will be vegan! The menu has been designed so that nobody feels that they are missing our due to the lack of animal protein as Chef Neil has teamed up with our friends at Impossible Foods to offer dishes based around their plant-based creations.

Those of you that follow us will know that we decided to temporarily close our Lan Kwai Fong restaurant on 25 March. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of our guests & our team because of the increasing no. of cases in Hong Kong ?? & in particular the Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district. We have been closely following the news surrounding COVID-19 and as the cases reported in the area have dramatically decreased this last week, and as we have thankfully not seen any confirmed cases at Beef & Liberty Lan Kwai Fong or any of our restaurants, we feel that we can re-open this Saturday, 4 April.
With strict health & safety policies already implemented at all locations since Feb to ensure the safest dining environment for our guests & team, and with the government’s latest restrictions in place which we are adhering to carefully, we will open for normal business & our usual Beef & Liberty cheer for brunch, burgers, happy hour and dinner…Take-away & Deliveroo will also be readily available too for those in the Central & soho ’hood.
We are incredibly appreciative of the support from the community, from our regulars guests and industry friends during these tough times. ❤️ It is our motivation & hope that our beloved Hong Kong returns back to the buzzing culinary city it once was just a few months ago soon. ‘Lambrosia’ is available from today until 27 October ‘19 at all Beef & Liberty restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This delicious ‘Greek’ inspired lamb offering fit for the Gods is made with a grilled organic ‘Rhug Estate’ lamb patty, topped with tzatziki, cherry tomatoes, red onion, mint and cucumber, sandwiched between our signature golden buns for HK$129. For the first time ever, guests can also order Lambrosia as a special lunch set for HK$167 and includes one ‘Lambrosia’, one side and one drink.
‘Rhug Estate’ farm rears their animals in a natural environment in Wales, where they roam freely on organic pastures, free from any antibiotics and hormones. Just how we like our meat here at Beef & Liberty!
