#UnitedWeDine: ‘The Liberty’ Burger Special Set

In support of Hong Kong’s F&B industry, we will be offering a special set menu as part of #UnitedWeDine from now until 31 May ’20. For just HK579, guests can enjoy 2x ‘Liberty’ burgers + your choice of a bottle of Finca Dos Cientos, Rioja (Spain, 2016), Antica Vigna, Pinot Grigio (Italy, 2018) or Sea Change, Rose (Italy 2018).

The ‘Liberty’ burger features a 220g, 29 day dry-aged Tasmanian grass-fed beef patty, topped with caramelised onions, house pickles, Dijon mustard and a mound of Raclette cheese, served table side.

Only available evenings only from 6pm onwards at Beef & Liberty Lan Kwai Fong & Wong Chuk Hang. Bookings encouraged!

THANKS FOR WAITING!

Those of you that follow us will know that we decided to temporarily close our Lan Kwai Fong restaurant on 25 March. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of our guests & our team because of the increasing no. of cases in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 & in particular the Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district. We have been closely following the news surrounding COVID-19 and as the cases reported in the area have dramatically decreased this last week, and as we have thankfully not seen any confirmed cases at Beef & Liberty Lan Kwai Fong or any of our restaurants, we feel that we can re-open this Saturday, 4 April.

With strict health & safety policies already implemented at all locations since Feb to ensure the safest dining environment for our guests & team, and with the government’s latest restrictions in place which we are adhering to carefully, we will open for normal business & our usual Beef & Liberty cheer for brunch, burgers, happy hour and dinnerTake-away & Deliveroo will also be readily available too for those in the Central & soho ’hood.

We are incredibly appreciative of the support from the community, from our regulars guests and industry friends during these tough times. ❤️ It is our motivation & hope that our beloved Hong Kong returns back to the buzzing culinary city it once was just a few months ago soon. Together, with solidarity, professionalism, care for each other and openness, our industry will survive this. AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM US

In light of the decline in visitors to Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district and the government’s recent announcements on social distancing, and in order to ensure the continued safety and health of our guests and our team members, we will temporarily be suspending dine-in at our California Tower Beef & Liberty branch today.

During the suspension we will be devising new ways to bring some Beef & Liberty good cheer to our guests wherever you are, hunkering down in these troubling times.  And as always, you can still visit us in Stanley Plaza or Wong Chuk Hang or order via Deliveroo in Sheung Wan, Sai Ying Pun and much of Central.

We’re celebrating Valentine’s early on Thursday 13 Feb 🌹 with ‘Double Trouble’ (2-for-1 on burgers) for V’day at our all restaurants (excluding Hong Kong Airport) from 6PM. Calling all burger fiends in Quarry Bay…we’ve heard many requests over the years for Beef & Liberty and Leaves & Liberty to open in this ‘hood…that’s why we’re very excited to announce that both ourselves & our sister-brand, Leaves & Liberty is available via Deliveroo Editions. Those in Quarry Bay, Tai Koo, North Point, Shau Kei Wan and Sai Wan Ho area will be able to order our burgers, salads, snacks and desserts straight to their doors.

Happy new year folks! The almighty ‘Green Chile’ burger returns for our 2019 Movember campaign to support men’s health and with a spicy new kick! ‘Lambrosia’…OUR NEW ‘GREEK’ INSPIRED SPECIAL

‘Lambrosia’ is available from today until 27 October ‘19 at all Beef & Liberty restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This delicious ‘Greek’ inspired lamb offering fit for the Gods is made with a grilled organic ‘Rhug Estate’ lamb patty, topped with tzatziki, cherry tomatoes, red onion, mint and cucumber, sandwiched between our signature golden buns for HK$129.  For the first time ever, guests can also order Lambrosia as a special lunch set for HK$167 and includes one ‘Lambrosia’, one side and one drink.

Rhug Estate’ farm rears their animals in a natural environment in Wales, where they roam freely on organic pastures, free from any antibiotics and hormones.  Just how we like our meat here at Beef & Liberty!

To go with this summery special, Chef Uwe brings a light and healthy vegetarian & gluten-free ‘Grilled Watermelon & Feta’ salad, made with fresh, grilled watermelon, feta cheese, mint, lemon, rocket, olive oil and a balsamic glaze for HK$49.

We’re officially open in Wong Chuk Hang, One Island South!

It’s official, we’ve set up our new home in Wong Chuk Hang, One Island South! Expect your favourite hamburgers, salads, snacks and ‘shakes as well as a range of plant-based and vegetarian dishes.  We will have our usual lunch sets available throughout the week and Happy Hour every Tue-Sun from 6-8pm. On weekends we’re also bringing all the Brunch & Liberty dishes you love to the area. For those that live nearby or work in the ‘hood, you can also pop in for take-away or order us via Deliveroo.

*Open Monday – Sunday, 11:00am til’ 9pm.

New Summer Specials: The Kentucky

Our Summer special has officially landed at all Beef & Liberty’s in Hong Kong and Shanghai! Please give a warm, Southern welcome to ‘The Kentucky’.  This beauty pays homage to the South, inspired by the home of Southern fried chicken and the famous Southern hot sauce.  Chef Uwe uses minced chicken thigh, breaded and fried, and tops it with cabbage slaw, house pickles, butter lettuce, Japanese mayonnaise and his homemade, secret ‘Kentucky’ hot sauce! Only available until 11 Aug ’19.

SPICY NEW SPECIAL: THE SICHUAN

📣HOT NEW SPECIAL ALERT (literally, it’s a spicy one!): The Sichuan. This spicy new number is Chef Uwe’s latest creation inspired by Kwan Ja, from our Central Kitchen team, and her homemade traditional Sichuan pepper sauce from a family recipe and features in this new special!

‘The Sichuan’ special is made with our grass-fed & hormone and anti-biotic free beef, topped off with courgette, red onion, coriander & marinated in the homemade Sichuan pepper sauce and a ginger mayonnaise to finish, sat between our signature toasted buns.

THE CURLY PIG SPECIAL FOR THE YEAR OF THE PIG!

New burger special alert: The Curly Pig, made with Mangalica pork, topped with a cabbage & fennel salad, Japanese mizuna leaves, mustard mayonnaise and crispy Dingley Dell English bacon, in-between our classic toasted buns. *A Mangalica pig is free-range, hormone and antibiotic-free and roams free in its native Hungary.  It’s considered among the tastiest pork in the world due to its higer fat content compared to modern breeds.

NEW SPECIAL: THE IMPOSSIBLE® THAI BURGER

The word is out, it’s official and we’re so excited to be one of the two exclusive Impossible® Foods launch partners in Hong Kong (their first launch outside of the US!) We’re excited to introduce The Impossible® Thai Burger, made with Impossible® meat made from plants, chilli, coriander, mint, basil, spring onion, soya mayonnaise, crispy shallots and garlic as well as The Impossible® Chilli Cheese Fries features Impossible® meat made from plants, cheddar cheese, spring onion, sour cream topped over our Liberty fries.

So what is Impossible® Foods?
The Impossible® meat patty itself is made entirely from plants & made for meat lovers. It primarily contains wheat protein, potato protein, coconut oil & heme (the molecule that gives meat its color & flavour).

What does it mean for the environment?
The Impossible® is more sustainable because it uses 95% less land, 74% less water & creates 87% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to beef!

NEW YEAR’S EVE AT BEEF & LIBERTY LAN KWAI FONG

Tired of overpriced New Year’s Eve parties? Us too! No ridiculously priced entry fees, just slamming tunes from DJ Arnaud D & Arun R & 1 mega free-flow option.

To put it simply, it’s business as usual from 6-10pm at all locations. From 10pm-12am, we crank up the beat at Lan Kwai Fong with an entry ticket that includes free-flow prosecco, house red & white wine, Estrella draught beer & 2 sliders per person for $350 (+ pelago booking fee). Tickets available online with a limited amount available at our Lan Kwai Fong restaurant.

From 12am-2am, drinks will be available as cash bar. Snacks and nibbles will be available throughout the night. DJ Arnaud D & Arun R will be spinning on the decks from 10pm-2am. Tickets sold out fast last year, so get them early!

NEW DISHES ON THE MENU

We’ve been working hard to diversify our menu and offer healthier & greener choices. We’re excited to announce that we’ve dropped new, dam good dishes for our veggie & non-veggie friends on the menu at all restaurants. Introducing: the B.L.T. Salad and Asian Duck Salad and new vegetarian dishes: Cauliflower & Cheese Bites and Broccolini & Feta.

And back on the menu by popular demand, the oh-so famous Beetroot Burger! Packed with the same vegetarian goodness as before from shredded beetroot, brown rice, kidney beans, cumin, chilli, coriander & goat’s cheese.

THE BROOKLYN CORNER AT BEEF & LIBERTY LAN KWAI FONG

In a special collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery, we invite you to an interactive group dining experience with a special menu curated by Uwe Opocensky & a craft beer pairing by Brewmaster Garrett Oliver with 7 beers, which include labels nowhere else available in HK…or the world.

Through the Virtual Reality tour – Hong Kong’s first ever restaurant VR experience – Garrett will guide you around the one & only Brooklyn Brewery located in New York.

The Brooklyn Corner s available for dinner bookings from Thursdays to Saturdays and is priced at HK$888 per person (+10% service charge).

In collaboration with Krug Champagne, we are proud to present the limited edition Truffle & Mushroom Burger. Made with porcini mushrooms, blooming ‘Hen of The Woods’ Japanese Maitake mushrooms, duck, truffle, rocket and duck egg.
