So what is Impossible® Foods?
The Impossible® meat is made entirely from plants & made for meat lovers. It primarily contains wheat protein, potato protein, coconut oil & heme (the molecule that gives meat its color & flavour). It is nut-free, dairy-free, matches the same levels of protein & iron found in beef, has less total fat and is cholesterol-free! It does however contain gluten & soy.
What does it mean for the environment?
The Impossible® is more sustainable because it uses 95% less land, 74% less water & creates 87% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to beef!
