Starting from April 21st to July 1st, we’ll be firing up our Big Green Egg BBQ every weekend from 11:30 to 3:30pm on our Shanghai Centre terrace. Come and feast on menus alternating each weekend with free-flow BBQ mains, appetizers, salads, sides, desserts and soft drinks. ¥258 per person for free-flow BBQ. Kids (up to the age of 14) at only ¥128. Add an optional free-flow at ¥138 for a booze deal (beers, house wines and prosecco).

Tang Dynasty Comes

Our original craftwork for the Chinese new year arrival. It is a Red Packet gift package named “TANG DYNASTY COMES”. As the name has told already, we use the flourishing Tang Dynasty as the design concept, integrating the contemporary Pop art, adding different color contrast for the visual impact, and using different high class art paper, finally to present you a collective handicrafts that is really worth to have.

In addition to the cool and fashion design, we also put in every package with a total of valued RMB 503 gift vouchers to make it more than a craftwork.

Now the “ TANG DYNASTY COMES” is available at all our Shanghai restaurants but only with limited quantity of 100 each venue. You will have 2 ways of getting it:

Michelin Star Chef Uwe Opocensky joins us!

As we just got featured in the Michelin Guide Shanghai last week as the only selected Hamburger restaurant in Shanghai. We are very happy to welcome Uwe to join us as Group Executive Chef at Beef & Liberty, German-born Uwe Opocensky was the executive chef at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where he runsthe Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar and oversees the hotel’s 10 restaurants and bars. A master of progressive gastronomy, with his unique presentationof dishes a focus, his culinary CV includes an enlightening and influentialstint working alongside Ferran Adrià at the legendary El Bulli in Spain.

From now on all your Beef & Liberty burgers will come from a Michelin star chef with extra care and expertise :)

We want to thank That's Shanghai for honoring us with this award but we also want to thank you guys - meaning all those loyal guests who have been to Beef & Liberty and supported us this year - for voting with their hearts and tummies for us. We've taken pride in listening to your comments and feedback this year and tried our best to improve wherever necessary.

Hormone-free chicken
From the 23rd June, we have started to use natural, hormone free chicken. These chicken are healthier, better tasting, and contain 30% less fat than chickens raised in the traditional industrial manner.
