Michelin Star Chef Uwe Opocensky joins us!

As we just got featured in the Michelin Guide Shanghai last week as the only selected Hamburger restaurant in Shanghai. We are very happy to welcome Uwe to join us as Group Executive Chef at Beef & Liberty, German-born Uwe Opocensky was the executive chef at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where he runsthe Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar and oversees the hotel’s 10 restaurants and bars. A master of progressive gastronomy, with his unique presentationof dishes a focus, his culinary CV includes an enlightening and influentialstint working alongside Ferran Adrià at the legendary El Bulli in Spain.

From now on all your Beef & Liberty burgers will come from a Michelin star chef with extra care and expertise :)

Our lamb burger is back! But with a vengeance and with all new kick-ass flavours. Lambo may look tough on the outside.. but inside we’ve got 8 hour slow roasted lamb from New Zealand, mint, cabbage and parsley salad, pickled chillies, pickled radish and garnished with a hot sauce mayonnaise.

We’re very excited to have won That's Shanghai 2016 burger restaurant of the year! We want to thank That's Shanghai for honoring us with this award but we also want to thank you guys - meaning all those loyal guests who have been to Beef & Liberty and supported us this year - for voting with their hearts and tummies for us. We've taken pride in listening to your comments and feedback this year and tried our best to improve wherever necessary.

Well done too to our friendly competitors for representing the Shanghai hamburger massive.

All that’s left now, is to celebrate and smash some beers and get loose, like agood grass-fed hamburger mince… See you all soon!

Hormone-free chicken
From the 23rd June, we have started to use natural, hormone free chicken. These chicken are healthier, better tasting, and contain 30% less fat than chickens raised in the traditional industrial manner.
